UpGuard, the third-party risk and attack surface management platform, announced that it has achieved certification under TX-RAMP (Texas Risk and Authorization Management Program), demonstrating its ongoing commitment to managing customer data securely and in line with evolving regulatory requirements.
Established by the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) in 2021, TX-RAMP is a robust security certification program that aims to standardize, evaluate and continuously monitor cloud computing services across state agencies, higher education institutions, and public community colleges.
“Achieving TX-RAMP certification reflects the strict security standards embedded into our processes, products, and infrastructure at UpGuard,” said Kaushik Sen, Chief Marketing Officer at UpGuard.
“It’s pleasing we’re now able to provide additional assurance to Texas state agencies and other local entities looking to prevent third-party data breaches, continuously monitor their vendors, and better understand their attack surface.”
UpGuard’s TX-RAMP certification comes in addition to its alignment with ISO/IEC 27001 and annual SOC 2, Type II certification.
